Meet The Team
It's easy to hide behind lots of "Blurb" typed into a web site, so in the interest for full disclosure this page tells you about us.
We are a small family run business, Mother (Boss), Father (Grafter) and Son (Will he ever leave home). In the business we all have our own skill set and roles.
The Boss (Pam Ford)
For a quite life we let her have this title, Pam's role in the business is running the Internet cafe, booking work in, taking parts orders and Spending hours and hours nattering to everyone who comes into our shop.
The Grafter (Brian Ford)
Started working in I.T. at the age of 20 installing Data Cabling. Not being contented I needed to know more, so I embarked on a series of I.T training courses over the years or so I was able to obtain the status of "Master Certified Novell Engineer".
As times changed and Microsoft became the dominate provider of Operating systems I Re-trained and obtained Microsoft certification in the form of Microsoft Certified Engineer + Internet and Microsoft Certified Trainer status during this time i worked as an independent consultant for many companies such as Anglian Water, Merrill Lynch, London Underground, BMW, Grampian Country Foods to name a few.
By 2006 I had built a successful computer company employing highly skilled engineers looking after many clients from Multi-national corporations down to one man bands. This is the point in my life when I decided to sell the business and relocate to Sunny Spain, It did not take long before just sitting in the Sun was not enough, thus The PC Shop was born.
What makes our business different is that in the last 25 year's I have ALWAYS been self employed, in being so you learn that CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is key to making a living. Happy Clients = returning clients and recommendations.
He Who Will Not Leave Home (Kai Ford)
Joking aside Kai (Pronounced "K-eye") a very important asset to the team, having extensive experience in PC repair and upgrading since the age of 16.
Kai also trained at the Grimsby (don't laugh someone has to come from Grimsby) College, in WEB Design and Creation.
Kai is a keen "World of Warcraft player and spends many many hours competing with friends around the world.
